Mrs. Dennis is a tenured CFO and financial executive with expertise in leading global companies in the public and private sectors to grow shareholder value through a focus on profit generation and strong fiscal controls. Partner to executive team and boards participating in building and executing strategic plans with background in accounting and finance, capital markets, M&A, start-up fundraising, turnaround and restructuring, governance and audit. Mrs. Dennis is a seasoned CFO and advises start-up companies in building up financial operations and in raising funds for topco growth and for project development from FOAK through commercialization. She currently advises for AirCompany, Phoenix Tailings, New Rise Renewables and Carbeniumtec. Most recently she was CFO of LanzaJet, Inc., a biofuels producer developing a first of its kind biofuels refinery to produce sustainable aviation fuel and renewable diesel. In this role she built the full finance and accounting function, implementing NetSuite, developing financial reporting to PCAOB audit standards, building budgets and forecasts for 409A valuation and structuring for global expansion into the UK, India, Australia, New Zealand and beyond. She raised over $250M in debt and equity for the first commercial refinery in Soperton, GA winning a $50M grant from Breakthrough Energy Catalysts and closing over $200M in debt facilities with Microsoft, Suncor, Shell, British Airways, Mitsui and LanzaTech. She also participated in a $100M equity raise for TopCo growth from Southwest Airlines, MUFG, Microsoft and ADP. In her capacity as CFO, Mrs. Dennis was a strategic partner to the executive team and to the board developing LanzaJet’s strategic growth into global markets. Mrs. Dennis holds a M.S. in Accounting from the Charles H. Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University, and a B.S. degree from Northwestern University. She is currently a board member and member of the Finance Committee for the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra.
